Fighting entropy since 1979#
We build software for infrastructure companies, telecommunications networks, and (more recently) cyclists who want to ride anywhere on Earth.
What We Do#
Solve complicated problems that need to be simple. After 1000+ projects in the archives (some of them even completed), we’ve learned that “simple” often means acknowledging the underlying complexity rather than pretending it doesn’t exist.
We’ve spent decades building GIS systems, coordinate transformation tools, and 3D site design software for utility companies, construction firms, and telecoms networks across the UK and worldwide. Our clients include Ericsson, Laing O’Rourke, National Grid, Network Rail, Vodafone and many other.
Then we built a cycling simulator. Because why not?
Current Projects#
Lo Poly Racer#
Open-world cycling simulator on a Raspberry Pi. Ride anywhere on Earth without subscriptions, cloud services, or being told which route to follow. Built on the terrain generation tech we developed for telecoms site design.
Status: Kickstarter in development Read more →
SnakeGrid Transformer#
MicroStation add-on for converting survey data between coordinate systems. Developed with University College London. Used by engineering firms for large-scale infrastructure projects where maintaining scale accuracy actually matters.
Status: Production, £2250/year per license Read more →
Oasis 3D#
3D digital twin system for telecoms site design. Build on an elliptical Earth with a proper curved horizon. Pilot project with Vodafone, funding from Ericsson, never quite achieved world domination.
Status: The tech works beautifully. The business case… didn’t. Read more →
Cleargraph#
Because sometimes you just need software that does what it says on the tin. Read more →
