With more than 1000 projects in the archives (some of them completed) we're constantly fighting to make things just as simple as they need to be. Which quite often seems to be very complicated indeed.

M30 segments near Bilbao, Spain. An M30 covers 30 minutes of the Earth's surface, i.e. half-a-degree. The M30 to the left contains only height data. The centre M30 is fully populated with surface features. The right M30 is essentially empty.
