Long Section Interface

This dialog lists all the routes in the active design file.
- The Add button opens the Add Route dialog.
- The Edit button opens the Route dialog.
- The Delete button prompts the user to confirm and then deletes the route and all associated long sections.
The
Fit and
Hilite buttons allow the operator to fit and/or highlight the route in the selected view.

Enter a unique route name and press
OK to create a new route.

This dialog lists all the Long Sections associated with a Route.
- The Add button adds a new long section to the route. By default the newly created long section covers the entire extents of the route and the Y-axis starts at zero.
- The Edit button opens the Long Section dialog.
- The Delete button deletes the highlighted long section.
- The 'Pipe From Surface' Create button creates a default pipe that exactly follows the surface, offset by the specified amount.
The
Fit and
Hilite buttons allow the operator to fit and/or highlight the Long Section in the selected view.

This dialog allows the operator to change the portion of the route displayed in this long section.
- The 'Y Min' Apply button sets the minimum Y values, i.e. adjusts the Y axis.
- The 'X min' Apply button sets the starting chainage of the Long Section. By default a Long Section starts at 0m.
- The 'X max' Apply button sets the ending chainage of the Long Section. By default a Long Section ends at the full extent of the route.
- The Extents button resets the Long Section to the entire extents of the route.
The following two options are not shown on the drawing:
- An 'X scale' Apply button to set the X scale.
- A 'Y scale' Apply button to set the Y scale.
Top row:
- Add section to route.
- Place pipe feature on the route.
- Place surface feature on the route.
- Add a route vertex.
- Move a route vertex.
- Delete a route vertex.
Bottom row:
- Place pipe feature in a long section.
- Place a surface feature in a long section.
- Add a pipe height.
- Move a pipe height.
- Delete a pipe height.
- Move annotation.
