DGN

The Design File Format (DGN) was developed by Bentley Systems to be used by their own CAD package application called MicroStation. Created within the DGN files are elements that represent line, point, shape, text features. Spatial information (attribute/database) can also be associated with these individual features by creating a 'link' between the feature in the DGN file and a row in an external database.
