CAD-VMT Quick Start

Double click the installer:

Leave all the installation options checked:

Accept the default installation path:

When the installation is complete...

you can click on the desktop icon...

or the "Start Menu" option...

to start MicroStation and navigate to the "Norwich to Ely" directory:

Open the file "Norwich to Ely.dgn". Click OK if you are prompted about non-existent resource files - they will be created for you:

If this is the first time you have used the application the dialog is empty:

Press the 'Frame Dir:' browse button to choose the frame directory. The sample frame directory is "C:\Program Files\gioconda\cad-vmt\project\Norwich to Ely\93to94\":

Press the 'Video File:' browse button to choose the Track Image Association (TIA) file:

If you completed these steps in the correct order as specified there is a slight pause while the dialog is populated with the available frames:

Press the 'Play' button to start the video. The video plays in the right view and the camera position moves in the right view:
