Web Site Debacle Ends

- "Hello, this is BT. How are you finding your broadband connection?"
- "Ermm, it doesn't work. We can't connect to our server. Nobody can."
- "Oh! Well, call this number and they will be able to help you."
- "I've tried that. No-one can help me. They don't know what I'm talking about."
- "I see. Try this number instead."

I never did call the alternative number, but against all the odds, a couple of days later we suddenly got access to our web-server. Maybe you could try it and let us know if you can access www.dhp11.com too? If you can't, send an email to derek.hunter@dhp11.com with 'Still No Access' in the subject line and I'll go back to worrying about it again.

All this goes to prove that just sometimes if you ignore something it does get better on it's own. However I don't recommend this strategy in all circumstances: Credit card bills and Tax Returns for example.

Development Work

As well as their traditional expertise in MDL (MicroStation Development Language), dhp11 can also offer development in other non-MicroStation areas (C, Java, Basic, PocketPC etc). If you need an application writing for anything then feel free to contact sales@dhp11.com for a quote. However on the basis of their spectacularly bad website maybe they are best avoided for those seeking an impressive 'corporate identity'.

Monthly Weather

We've had a few cold mornings recently, but to be honest we don't care. We just put another shovel-full of coal on the stove and wait for the kettle to boil.

The luck of some people!
